Available Positions in Engineering & Construction

TGDL invites applications for the following roles within the engineering and management sectors:

1. Project Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Registration as a member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is mandatory.
  • Experience in project management and site supervision will be advantageous.
  • Strong skills in leadership, planning, coordination, quality control, and reporting are essential.

2. Site Manager

  • Possession of at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Open to qualified Engineers and Engineering Technologists.
  • Must be a registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
  • Experience in site supervision and project coordination is preferred.

3. Electrical Technicians / Electricians

  • Advanced Certificate or Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation is required.
  • Registration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is mandatory.
  • Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and related tasks will be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and safe working practices is essential.

Terms of Engagement for Engineering Jobs in Lusaka

All positions are offered on a contract basis, with contracts renewable annually. Renewal depends on satisfactory performance and the ability to deliver work that meets technical specifications, professional standards, and project requirements.
