About the Role: Human Resource Manager  Jobs in Lusaka

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting effective human resource management, fostering employee development, and maintaining compliance with Zambian labour laws and employment regulations. This position requires a strategic and hands-on leader capable of managing diverse HR functions within a dynamic financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals.
  • Manage employee relations and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws, payroll administration, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead employee development initiatives and performance management processes.
  • Collaborate with management to support organizational growth and workforce planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Full registration with the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM), including a valid practising certificate.
  • At least five years of professional experience in human resource management, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Zambian labour laws, payroll systems, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Expertise in employee development and workplace best practices.
  • Ability to manage payroll processes accurately and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Proven capability to uphold compliance with labour laws and employment standards.
