Building and Farm Maintenance Supervisor Jobs in Luanshya

Goldenlay Agri Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Building and Farm Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Luanshya, Copperbelt Province, Zambia. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals eager to lead maintenance operations across both building infrastructure and farm grounds.

About the Role: Building and Farm Maintenance Supervisor

As a Building and Farm Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of construction, renovation, and maintenance activities on site. Your expertise will ensure that buildings remain safe, functional, and well-maintained while also managing the upkeep of farm grounds, including gardens, lawns, fencing, and gates. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to manage contractors, artisans, and maintenance teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise building construction projects, renovations, repairs, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects, leaks, and structural damage in buildings.
  • Coordinate and liaise with contractors, artisans, and maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, materials, and equipment usage to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Oversee maintenance of gardens, lawns, farm grounds, fencing, and gates to preserve the property’s condition.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance schedules and progress reports for management review.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 Certificate is required.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in building and farm maintenance supervision.
  • Membership in the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
