Position Overview: Housekeeper/Cleaner

As a Housekeeper/Cleaner at Sunda International, you will be responsible for managing daily cleaning and housekeeping services within our staff dormitory. Your role will be crucial in ensuring communal areas remain hygienic and orderly, supporting the wellbeing of our employees. This position requires a proactive individual who pays close attention to detail and values safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities for Housekeeper Jobs in Lusaka

  • Daily Cleaning & Sanitization: Conduct thorough daily cleaning and routine disinfection of rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and other shared spaces to uphold high hygiene standards.
  • Housekeeping & Organization: Assist residents by organizing laundry, making beds, and washing communal tableware and kitchen utensils to maintain an orderly environment.
  • Facility & Inventory Management: Monitor communal supplies, perform regular checks on utilities such as water and electricity, inspect home appliances, and promptly report any damages to ensure safety and functionality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Health & Age: Candidates should be under 40 years of age, in good physical health, and possess a valid health certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in professional cleaning, housekeeping, or hotel services is preferred. Familiarity with standard cleaning and disinfection procedures is essential.
  • Competencies: We seek highly responsible, detail-oriented individuals with a strong service mindset and safety awareness. Compliance with company dormitory regulations is mandatory.
